Freedom of speech is a great thing, but asking writers to write in 'good' English, French ... could discourage some.
But some - generally blog posts - I've seen are just terrible! Below a certain level I don't even want to read them.
With the popularity of blogging, ignoring badly written texts has become custom that it seems to have lowered the average level.
What do you think?
If a correction is proposed, will the writer wisely accept?
Is Goosegrade aiming all the web sites or just a specific range of writing related websites?
In the future do you think most of the Internet will become multimedia?
Will future generations become more speakers/listeners and abandon writing/reading?

Will Goosegrade discourage writing?

Most people who opt-in to using gooseGrade have already admitted that they make mistakes. We all do. We are human!
I think there will always be room for reading simply because we can take information in faster through reading than through listening. Also, look at the success of the kindle.
gooseGrade is trying to help websites improve the quality of their writing by facilitating peer review without fully wikitizing text.
